Schulz Automotive Machine Ltd was founded in 1953, when Royce E. Schulz Moved from Lena Illinois, to Monroe.
Our Vision.
Grandad Royce Schulz always said, if you aren't going to do it right, were not going to do it at all. Our Machine shop still has that attitude and value today. We will do a job complete, and accurate, and a proper repair.
For an engine machine shop to survive and prosper this many decades, it is a testament to Grandad's vision of doing it right.

Our Founder.
Royce E.Schulz born in 1913, grew up with horses and steam engines. Having grown up on a farm in McConnel Illinois, in neighboring Stephenson county, He always had a great appreciation for everything mechanical. His personally restored 1932 Packard Super Eight was a testament to the quality of his workmanship, and his life.
